Dr Mark Turner - Honorary Consultant Neonatologist & Director of Research & Development BSc, MBChB (Hons), PhD, MRCP(UK), MRCPCH, DRCOG


 Mark Turner is a Senior Lecturer in Neonatology at the University of Liverpool and Honorary Consultant Neonatologist to Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in paediatrics in the North West of England and neonatal medicine in Liverpool and Manchester before starting as a Consultant at LWH in 2005. His particular clinical interest is babies who are born very early including pain relief and communication with families.  He represents LWH on the Executive and Board of the National Co-ordinating Centre of the U.K. Medicines for Children Research Network (MCRN) and the Advisory Board of the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales Medicines for Children Local Research Network. He is a member of the MCRN Clinical Studies Groups in Neonatal Medicine, General Paediatrics and Anaesthesia, Pain, Paediatric Intensive Care and Cardiology.







Dr Mark Turner was Co-Investigator to the ADRIC Programme and a member of the ADRIC Steering Committee.
